FAQ Before you decide
Your questions, straight answers
Everything we get asked before an event is created — and two or three things we’d rather say before you ask.
Your guests
01Do my guests need to install an app?
No. They scan the QR on the table card (or type the short code), give their first name, and their film roll is ready. No account, no install, under a minute.
02Will my older guests manage?
Tata Nicole is designed for them first: big buttons made for a dark room, one action per screen, zero jargon. If the 60-year-old aunt manages in 60 seconds — and that’s our design benchmark — everyone manages.
03What about guests without a smartphone?
They enjoy the party, everyone else’s photos, and the venue screen if you turn it on. Nobody is penalised — and you can slip their card to an enthusiastic neighbour at their table.
04Can a guest refuse to take part?
Of course, and they’ll never be chased or displayed as missing. With Tata Nicole there’s no score, no ranking, no participants board. An invitation, never a debt.
The night
05What do you have to do during the party?
Nothing. It’s a design promise: everything is prepared before (the table kit, the film look, the development time), everything is revealed after. On the night, you’re newlyweds, not stage managers.
06What if the venue’s network is saturated?
Taking a photo never waits for the network: the exposure is saved on the phone and uploads as soon as the connection allows. A moody network delays the upload, never the click.
07How does the venue screen work?
It’s a full-screen web page, on a TV or a projector. Photos appear with a 15–30 minute delay and in random order — time to moderate, and so nobody photographs for the screen. The note on the back never appears there.
08Can we remove an embarrassing photo?
Yes. You can hide or delete a photo from the album and the venue screen. A hidden photo stays in its author’s private film roll — we don’t confiscate a memory, we take it out of view.
The development
09When do we see the photos?
At the date and time you chose — the next day at brunch, or later. Guests get a notification, then the exposures reveal themselves progressively: everyone discovers their contact sheet, you discover the whole album.
10Can we see the photos early, just the two of us?
No, not even you. That’s the rule that makes the morning of the development so special — everyone discovers at the same time, newlyweds included.
11What is the note on the back?
At the last exposure, every guest can write you a note, like on the back of a print you give someone. It’s revealed at development, attached to their contact sheet — never before, never in public.
Your data
12Where are the photos hosted?
In the European Union, under GDPR. The details — host, retention, guests’ rights — are coming on a dedicated data-security page.
13How long are the photos kept?
The better question is: what do you hold? When the development ends, the full-resolution archive and the contact-sheet PDFs are delivered to you. Your photos live at your place; they don’t depend on the service surviving.
14Do guests keep anything?
Yes — their personal contact sheet, with their 24 exposures and their note. It’s their keepsake of your wedding, and the only automatic “thank you” in the whole setup.
The price
15How much does Tata Nicole cost?
€39 per event, one payment, unlimited guests, everything included — see the pricing details.
16Can it be gifted?
Yes, the gift card exists at the same price. It’s the classic present from a witness who wants to give something other than a registry item.
